A large hall with cream walls and a suspended ceiling where a crowd of devotees sits cross-legged on mats in rows. Most men wear white dhotis and shirts, some with white-clad priests seated in front with shaved heads, sacred ash and tilaka marks. Children in mixed casual clothes sit among the adults. Brass lamps, small plates, a stack of books and offering trays are set on the floor. Framed portraits of deities hang along the back wall beside orange-draped chairs, and a few orange cloths hang near the far walls.
