Photograph of a shrine niche framed by ornate gold arch carvings and red drapery, showing two large painted deity statues standing side by side. The figure on the left is male, wearing an orange turban and crown, a red and gold ornamented chest piece with layered necklaces, and holding a ritual drum-like object; the figure on the right is female, wearing a black crown-like headdress, gold necklaces, a white and gold sari with blue skirt-like drapery, and holding a hand in blessing. Both wear garlands of yellow and red flowers. Between them sits a small figure in orange and white with a kalasha-like metallic vessel and a brass lamp on the left. These are statues, not living people.2008-09-22June 30 20102010-06-30October 19 20082008-10-19September 19 20112011-09-19October 15 20102010-10-15June 27 20092009-06-27December 31 20112011-12-312011-July-312011-07-31A photograph of a temple shrine with a golden arched frame and red drapery. Two gilded deity murtis sit on a raised platform: the male figure holds a trident-like staff and wears a red crown and a white and red garland, while the female figure beside him wears a gold crown and a red sari with a heavy necklace. In front, a large shivalinga-style form in the centre is draped with a white cloth and red garment, adorned with a rudraksha-like necklace and garlands of yellow and purple flowers. Brass oil lamps stand on both sides and flowers fill the lower left corner. No people are visible.2010-07-29September 19 20112011-09-19December 28 20112011-12-28October 15 20102010-10-15
