A photograph of a bearded man with long dark hair, wearing a rust-red shawl and a pink and white flower garland, placing his right hand on the head of a young man in a white shirt during an initiation-style blessing on a stage under bright lights. The bearded man has white vertical tilak marks on his forehead and a red mark between his brows; a gold pole and a gold-decorated backdrop stand behind him. A second person in a red shawl is partly visible at left, with a red forehead mark. Swamiji (probable): the bearded figure with long swept-back hair, a rust-red shawl, a flower garland and ornate gold-toned stage setting fits the appearance cues for the Swamiji candidate, presented here as a person giving a blessing to a devotee.

He smiles while a second man in a white shirt with an orange shawl leans in, one hand on the seated man's head. Behind them is an ornate gold-carved throne with a red cushion. The seated man's distinctive long hair, ceremonial gold necklace and rudraksha mala are visible, so he is described as a probable Swamiji, seated in a blessing scene.2017-03-03
