Indoor evening aarti ceremony in a hall with white walls and a corrugated metal ceiling. A woman in the centre wears a white sari with an orange shawl and holds a brass bell in one hand while raising a flaming brass lamp, her hair pulled back. Two women to the left and right, also in orange shawls, raise oil lamps and a flame. Behind them a banner reading "Nithyanandapeetam" hangs with orange and teal drapes, colourful pillars and a seated deity murti decorated with a garland. Children sit along the right side watching. The scene suggests a puja or aarti offering in a dhyanapeetam hall.
