January 01 20082008-01-01January 01 20082008-01-01A photograph of a central figure seated before an ornate gilded throne with carved floral and peacock-like motifs, a small emblem at its top, and a trident-like staff at the upper left. The seated man wears a saffron-orange garment, a long dense garland of red, orange and white flowers, and a gold pendant necklace with multiple gold chains; he is smiling. Two devotees stand at his sides with palms pressed together in anjali: a woman in a yellow-and-white sari with orange shawl and gold bangles at left, and a man in a white checked shirt with an orange cord at right. Behind them, another man in white with an orange scarf and a man in orange-saffron robes with a gold necklace appear. Marigold garlands and yellow decorations fill the background. Swamiji (probable): the seated central figure has long swept-back hair, saffron clothing, a flower garland and gold ceremonial necklaces, so the appearance-based label applies to this in-person figure.2008-01-01January 01 20082008-01-01A photograph of a stage event. A seated figure on a gold-and-red ornate throne wears orange robes and has long swept-back dark hair, with a crown-like adornment absent; he smiles and holds a handheld microphone on a stand, his hand raised toward an older woman in a white-and-gold patterned sari with an orange shawl who bends forward toward him. Behind her, another person in white with an orange shawl sits and speaks into a microphone. Gold lion-shaped throne arms, a flower-decorated base with white and yellow garlands, a red throne cushion, a patterned yellow-and-blue hanging and a dark backdrop complete the scene.2008-01-11January 01 20082008-01-01A photograph of a devotee in white kneeling and bowing her head at the feet of a seated figure on an ornate golden throne with a carved lion armrest and red cushions. The seated figure wears saffron-orange robes, a long gold necklace and has long dark hair, with a hand resting on the throne. A man in orange robes stands at left beside a folding fan, and another man in orange sits near the back. The throne is decorated with white and orange flower garlands, a floral-patterned backdrop and a red cloth on the floor. Appearance-based label: a person, seated on the throne as the one being honoured.2008-07-17July 17 20082008-07-17July 07 20092009-07-07A photograph of a seated man with long dark hair, smiling broadly, wearing a red bindi, an orange garment, a gold necklace and a long red, white and green floral garland, seated before an ornate gold throne-like backdrop decorated with flower arrangements. In the foreground a woman in a gold-yellow blouse and white sari, hands pressed together in namaskar, faces him, while a man in white clothes with his back to the camera stands beside him. Two women in red and orange saris stand at the left, one holding a plate of flowers and offerings.2008-01-01January 28 20092009-01-28A seated figure in an orange saffron garment with long, swept-back dark hair sits on a red-draped couch, reaching out to a devotee in a red top at the front of a crowd. Behind the couch a fruit basket, a tray of offerings with vibhuti, kumkum and flowers, and printed pamphlets are arranged. Around them a dense crowd of men and women in white and cream clothes stands and watches. A standing young man in orange, a bald man in orange and a figure in orange stand in the background beside a curtained stage. The scene resembles a darshan and healing session.2008-03-25
