Close photo of a grinding stone trough, shallow and grey-speckled, holding a red-orange paste and dark smooth stones. A forearm wearing dark rudraksha beads and a red thread wrist band reaches into the paste at left. Two dark rounded stones rest at the right and one sits on the trough rim. Yellow turmeric-like powder dusts the stone. Only a hand and arm are visible, so no full person is shown.
