A photograph inside a temple sanctum at a Shiva lingam with a brass base and a brass pot-shaped abhishekam vessel above it. Marigolds, pink and red flower petals and green leaves surround the black lingam, which is wrapped with a red thread. Behind the metal railing, a seated person in red robes and a gold-and-white flower garland sits with hands folded, while people in orange and saffron robes and rudraksha malas, one holding a small brass plate, sit nearby. A man in white dhoti and a woman in an orange sari also stand close. The scene reads as a temple abhishekam or puja.
