Outdoor photo of a ritual on a raised metal platform with stairs and railings against a pale sky. A woman with long dark hair and a white forehead mark sits center, wearing an orange-red sari, beaded necklaces and bangles, gesturing with her hands beside a large black Shivalingam draped in garlands of white, yellow, purple and green flowers. Behind her, several shaven-headed men in saffron-orange robes with yellow borders sit on the platform, one holding a brass vessel on the steps below. The pages describe a Maha Shivaratri gathering. Grey concrete wall at right.
