A woman in a red and dark-maroon sari with a long white flower garland walks barefoot through a black iron security gate onto a red carpet strewn with white flower petals. Beside her, a woman in a white sari with orange border carries a silver tray holding a kalasha-like brass pot topped with mango leaves and a coconut. Behind them, men in white dhotis and white shirts and women in orange and saffron clothing stand in the doorway, with more people crowded outside under mango foliage. A bicycle leans against the left wall and a wooden chair sits at right.2014-06-26A photograph of a doorway decorated with marigold garlands, green leaf torans and hanging bells, with a swastika ornament at the top. A smiling person in rust-red robes with a white-and-orange marigold garland stands barefoot on a floral-patterned mat just inside the threshold, with a rangoli design and marigold petals on the floor. A second person in white stands partly visible behind to the left. A colourful cloth hangs on the door frame. The scene reads as a house welcome or pada puja.2014-07-08July 08 20142014-07-08A photograph of an indoor lobby at night with a red carpet strewn with rose petals. A person with long dark hair and a white flower garland, wearing a maroon wrap and gold-banded orange-red garment, stands barefoot with one arm raised in blessing as a man in a white shirt and brown trousers and an older man in white with a red-beaded mala and a wooden staff approach. Two uniformed security guards in black with caps stand to the side, and a child and another man in a checked shirt watch from the left. Garlands and lights decorate the glass windows behind. Swamiji (probable): the central figure with long swept-back hair, garland and saffron-red ceremonial clothing is described as the honoured guest receiving the welcome.2014-07-07July 07 20142014-07-07July 07 20142014-07-07
