Photograph of a large black Shivalingam on a black yoni-peetha base, standing on a red-and-gold platform at the centre of a reflective pool at dusk. A striped garland of colourful cloth wraps the lingam, and a white horizontal tripundra mark is painted on its upper section. Behind the pool stand a red multi-storey building and tiered red seating, with a metal staircase along the left where several people in orange and saffron robes stand on the steps and terraces. The water mirrors the lingam, peetha, building and figures. A small white-robed figure stands at the far left edge.

October 21 20132013-10-21October 21 20132013-10-21A large black Shiva lingam stands on a raised square black base in the middle of a still reflecting pool at dusk. The lingam is decorated with a colourful multi-coloured garland arch behind it and a silver plaque on its shaft. A metal staircase with railings rises from the water toward a platform with small figures, and rows of red seats fill the stepped amphitheatre around the pool. Several people in white and saffron clothing stand along the left side near the steps, and a red multi-storey building stands behind. The scene suggests a rudrabhishekam or puja setting, though the image itself shows only the empty sanctum-like pool and lingam.2013-11-04Early-morning photograph of a large black stone Shivalinga on a raised platform, set within a reflecting pool, with a multicoloured floral garland arch behind it and a silver ornament on its face. Rows of red stadium seating rise around the pool, and about a dozen people in orange and saffron robes stand along the staircase railings and on the upper terrace of a red-brick building. The water's surface mirrors the Shivalinga, the steps and the seating. The scene suggests a Rudrabhishekam setting, though the people are small and distant.2013-10-21November 04 20132013-11-04Photograph of a large black stone Shivalinga on a raised square platform set in a reflecting pool at dusk, its reflection mirrored in the still water. A tall arched backdrop behind it has a striped rainbow-coloured border and a small white plaque. Tiers of red and orange-painted seating surround the pool, and on a staircase at upper left several saffron-robed figures stand, appearing to be monastics. Red multi-storey buildings and lamp posts frame the scene under a pale grey evening sky.2013-10-21October 28 20132013-10-28November 04 20132013-11-04 +1 copiesDusk view of a large black Shivalingam on a square platform standing in still water, its reflection mirrored below. A silver yoni-style band or plaque is fixed at its middle and it is wrapped with a garland of flowers. Behind it, tiered red-brown stadium-style seating and a multi-storey red brick building with a tower. White metal railings and staircases lead up the tiers. On the left, a few small figures in orange and white robes stand by the steps, appearing to be people in ritual dress; they are too small and distant to count precisely. A small white gazebo-like structure is at the far left edge.2013-10-28A large black stone Shivalinga stands on a square platform in shallow water, its reflection clearly mirrored below. A garland of yellow, green and red flowers arches over the lingam, and water runs down its surface. Behind, a row of tiered red steps is filled with seated devotees in orange robes, and a red-brick building with a white railing stair rises beside it. On the stairs, several figures in orange or saffron robes stand and gather, some holding objects. Their clothing is orange, the sky pale blue, and a few small floating offerings dot the water.2013-10-28November 04 20132013-11-04A large black Shivalingam stands in shallow water on a flooded stone platform in an outdoor courtyard, decorated with a multicoloured flower garland around its base. Its reflection shows clearly in the still water. Behind it, a red multi-storey building has white metal staircases and railings leading to upper terraces.
