A photograph of a powerful waterfall cascading over dark rock at the Papanasam falls setting, with spray filling the frame. Several men stand in front of and beside the falling water, some bathing under it. A man in white dhoti and shirt stands at left with a white sash; another man in a red shirt stands at left-centre. A bare-backed man with long wet black hair wears a red cloth around his waist and stands facing the water at centre. A man in a red garment stands at right, and an older bare-chested man in a blue-checked lower cloth stands near the falls. A man in a white vest stands at far right, and a man in red is partly visible at lower right. Green foliage hangs at the top of the frame.
