A bare-chested man seated on a red cloth-covered seat holds a tall silver staff with a round top and wears a long red-and-gold garland, a rudraksha mala, bangles and a red-and-gold dhoti. Several people sit around him: a girl in a pink floral dress with a flower clip holds a small packet, an older woman in a sari holds a white offering, and a boy in orange robes sits beside him. Other women sit on the sofa and a woman in a green sari sits nearby. A small ornate garland hangs at the top left.
