Five children sit on a tiled floor in a plain room, cutting or tearing small white paper pieces. A boy in a red sweater sits at left, a boy in a red-and-white striped shirt sits centre-left, and a girl in a pink-and-white patterned top and green pants sits near the front. Another girl in a blue top sits beside her, and a girl in a pink plaid shirt sits at right. An empty orange armchair with yellow and green marigold-style garlands stands behind them, with a blue plastic tub of colourful items nearby and scraps of paper scattered on the floor. A red-striped mat lies at right.
