A man sits cross-legged on an ornate golden throne (peetha) decorated with a dense garland of yellow, white, red and purple flowers. He wears a red turban, a red shawl draped over his shoulders with his chest bare, and a heavy ceremonial gold necklace of large beads. His hands are folded in his lap and he gazes to the side. Behind him stand a golden trident (trishul) and a small brass oil lamp with a lit flame, and a hand drum with an orange cord is at the right edge. Garlands also drape the throne armrest and a bottle of water sits at the lower left. Only one person is physically present.
