A photograph of a crowded thatched-roof hall with blue metal poles, where many people sit on the ground eating from metal plates, as in a community meal. A man in a pink shirt and white dhoti stands centre-left, serving or walking among the seated diners; others in white shirts and dhotis, and women in colourful saris, sit or stand around. A hanging yellow-and-green banner in Tamil script is visible. A man in a red cap sits in the foreground with a plate. The setting appears to be a temporary open-sided shelter with a palm-leaf roof.
