A photograph of a homa fire ritual at night under a pandal with orange triangular flags and leafy decorations. In the foreground, a round fire pit with a blue-and-white painted rim holds a flame, and a metal vessel sits at its base. A man with a shaved head in saffron-orange robes and a rudraksha mala sits with palms pressed together on a red-cushioned seat behind the fire. Beside him, an older bare-chested man in a white dhoti sits cross-legged on the floor. A standing man in a white shirt watches from behind, and a blue electric fan stands among the decorations.

Beside him stands a man in white dhoti and white shirt, and behind him a younger man in white shirt and dhoti stands near a small table with papers. A blue electric pedestal fan sits between them, and a red-and-cream patterned cloth hangs in the background amid greenery. Three people are visible. The page indicates this is a Chandi homa in Kavunthapadi, but the clothing shows only ordinary white ritual attire with no distinctive identifying cues for the seated man, so he is described by role as a sannyasi.
