A decorated ratha procession on a village road. A large golden-yellow and multicolored fringed canopy with silver umbrella-like finials covers a palanquin-style float heavily garlanded with orange and yellow marigold strings. Seated on the float is a statue-like figure of a deity murti with a crown and red-and-orange garlands, appearing to be a carved or sculpted image rather than a living person. Around the float, men in white dhotis and white shirts, some with saffron shawls and rudraksha-style neck garlands, walk beside and push the chariot. A saffron-robed person stands at left. Behind them is a red-orange wall, a stone pillar and a metal shed, with a printed program schedule board and a poster bearing a portrait at right.
