A photograph of a barefoot man in an orange turban and orange sleeveless robe standing beside a large banyan tree trunk with multi-stranded aerial roots. He leans his head and right hand against the trunk while his left hand rests in his robe. White and pink flower garlands are draped around the tree trunk and roots, and scattered petals cover the reddish-brown earth. A white-edged platform and a striped mat are visible at right. The scene suggests a tree-worship or devotional gesture. A faint copyright and source line appears at the bottom right corner.

A garland of yellow and purple flowers hangs on the trunk at left. Dry dirt ground and a white boundary wall are visible behind, with a small grey pole and a palm tree in the background. The figure has long dark hair and a thin gold necklace; the saffron robe and long hair are the appearance cues, and the page names Swamiji at this event but the face is not used. Swamiji (probable) in the sense of an appearance-based candidate with multiple cues: long swept hair, saffron clothing and a gold necklace.2010-02-12
