Photograph of a row of shaved-headed monks in saffron and orange robes, seated on a red carpet with palms pressed together in prayer. In front of them stand low white tables holding banana-leaf plates of rice, vegetables and fruit. In the background a figure in a red robe with a garland sits before a gold-and-red ornate throne and a white draped table, within a hall with a pale wall. In the foreground on the left, a shaved-headed monk in saffron and red robes sits with palms pressed together in prayer, while rows of saffron-robed monks sit cross-legged on mats in front of banana-leaf plates, each with small lit oil lamps and food offerings. On the right, younger monks in orange robes with white forehead marks and rudraksha malas sit with hands folded over leaf plates. Behind them, a larger seated assembly of devotees in white and red clothing sits quietly, and a camera on a tripod is set up at the centre.
