Indoor temple-like hall with a crowd of devotees in a religious gathering. A figure with long dark hair in an orange-saffron garment stands center, receiving a white flower garland being draped over the head of a man in a white shirt, with hands raised in greeting. A bald monk in saffron robes and a rudraksha mala stands at right, and other men in white and light clothing surround the scene. Light-coloured walls and ceiling fans are visible.

Around him, several men in saffron robes and shaved heads stand or gesture, one in white at left, and a sannyasi at right holds a white item. The walls are cream with arched ornamental trim and there is a red-and-gold chair behind. The centre figure has distinctive long swept-back hair and ceremonial adornments, which is a person candidate; the surrounding men are devotees or sannyasis in saffron clothing. The hall has a wooden floor and a ceremonial, festive atmosphere.2012-05-31
