A man seated on an ornate gilded throne with a large golden halo-like backrest carved with floral and scroll motifs. He wears a rust-orange saffron-coloured robe draped over the shoulders, a long multi-strand gold-bead necklace with a large gold pendant, gold armlets and beaded bracelets, and a red tilak mark on the forehead. He has long dark hair and a moustache and makes a mudra with his right hand, thumb and index finger touching. Gold lion-footed armrests with leopard-print cushions flank him, and red drapery is behind the throne. Swamiji (probable) appears in person, seated in a ceremonial setting, identified by the saffron robe, distinctive gold necklaces and long hair.
