A bare-chested priest with a rust-orange turban and orange dhoti with gold border stands with his back to the camera, holding a green leaf tray of small steel vessels. Three young girls sit on a stone bench in festive dress: one in a purple blouse and white garland, one in a green and orange sari with white jasmine garlands, and one in a red blouse and cream sari with jasmine garlands and gold jewellery, her hand reaching toward the tray. Oil lamps glow in the background beside a shrine with flowers, and another man in orange cloth stands at left. Five people are visible.
