Night photograph of a crowd of devotees pressed behind a rustic bamboo barricade lashed with rope, watching an event off-frame. Many women wear sarees and head coverings in green, pink, orange and purple, and a woman in a green headscarf is at far left. Several children stand at the barrier, including a boy in a green and white checked shirt. Behind them a pink and white pavilion is strung with coloured lights, and a man in white stands near the tents. The festive lights and tented structures suggest a camp setting.
