A photo inside a stone-walled shrine. A shaven-headed man seen from behind, wearing a rudraksha mala around his neck, raises a brass aarti lamp with a bright flame toward a deity murti draped in white jasmine garlands and red flowers. Offerings of bananas, flowers and bowls sit on the altar ledge, and other garlanded murtis appear on the right. The walls are polished marble. The scene shows padapuja or aarti being performed at the altar.

Two dark stone murtis in white dhoti garlands stand in the background niche. A steel bowl and scattered pink petals sit on the ledge. The person's appearance is consistent with the page's a person reference, but the face and features are not clearly visible enough to confirm identity, so this is a devotee performing puja.2012-06-05June 01 20122012-06-01
