A night-time outdoor gathering on a sandy open ground under a dark sky with a bright moon. A large crowd of devotees, mostly men in white dhotis and shirts and women in colourful saris and salwar, mingle and stand in groups. At left, a man in white sits on a red plastic chair beside a small stand. Bamboo poles, a thatched shelter, strings of lights and a illuminated temple-like structure appear in the background. The scene suggests a festive public celebration at night.
