Photograph of the front of a cream-coloured Spanish-style building labelled Excelsior Union High School and AUDITORIUM, with arched entrance doorways and a wide staircase. A red carpet runs down the centre of the steps and sidewalk toward the open doors. White and orange balloons are tied along the entrance arches and a railing. A crowd of roughly 40 people stands on and around the steps: men in white kurta-style clothes, a few women in saris and long dresses, a man in a dark uniform and cap, and others in business attire. A man in a dark uniform stands at the bottom of the carpet near a pole, and a figure in a white robe stands at the left. The scene suggests a formal arrival or opening at the auditorium.
