A home altar draped in yellow cloth, decorated with white plumeria flowers and red and white garlands. Behind it hangs a large framed print of Shiva seated with his trident, with Ganesha and Parvati and the child Murugan in a mountain setting with a white bull. To the right stands a black deity murti in a red and silver sari with garlands, beside a painted image of a goddess holding a parrot and lotus under an arch. Small framed pictures, brass figures, a green stone elephant and a red figurine sit on the altar, with a brass vessel of flowers at the front. No people are visible.
