A photograph of a snow-capped, pyramid-shaped mountain rising behind rugged brown rock cliffs under a partly cloudy sky. In the blurred foreground on the left, a person wears a bright orange-red knitted cap and dark clothing, with sunglasses partly visible. The figure is out of focus and a probable sannyasi wearing orange, though the face is not clearly distinct enough to confirm identity. The scene evokes a Kailash yatra pilgrimage setting.

Behind him rises a steep brown rock face with layered strata and a snow-capped peak against a clear blue sky. Small distant figures stand on the flat valley floor at the base of the cliffs.August 08 20122012-08-08A photograph of a snow-capped mountain rising behind a steep, layered brown rock face, with thin cloud wrapped around the peak. In the left foreground, a partly visible person in a bright orange knit cap and dark sunglasses looks off to the right, filling the left edge of the frame. The mountain is a Himalayan peak in a high-altitude pilgrimage landscape, consistent with a Kailash Yatra setting. Only the partial figure in orange is a physical person; the scene is open rock and sky with no visible ritual activity.2012-08-08July 27 20122012-07-27August 08 20122012-08-08August 08 20122012-08-08August 08 20122012-08-08A wide outdoor photograph of a tall rocky cliff face of layered tan and brown strata beneath a snow-capped peak rising above it under a blue sky with large white clouds. In the foreground on a stony plain, a crowd of pilgrims sits and stands, many in orange and red shawls and wraps, some in white sun hats and caps, some photographing the mountain. A video camera on a tripod stands at the lower right edge of the frame, and a dark camera body is visible at the upper right. Several visible people are seated close together, facing the mountain.2012-07-27August 08 20122012-08-08 +1 copiesAugust 06 20112011-08-06August 06 20112011-08-06
