A photograph taken through a car's side-mirror looking along a railway track bed of loose grey gravel. In the foreground a young boy in a white short-sleeved shirt and blue trousers walks on the sleepers carrying a small bag, with a pink plastic bag lying on the gravel nearby. Further down the track several people walk in the same direction, including a figure in white carrying a white container and others in colourful lungis and saris. A tall signal post stands to the right beside a concrete platform edge, with palm trees and green scrub lining both sides under a hazy sky.
