A large group of women dances in a long, wide marble-floored hall during a Navaratri celebration. Many dancers hold up colourful striped dandiya sticks in both hands, some raised overhead, in lines moving through the room. The women wear saris and salwar kameez in orange, red, teal, green, purple and cream, with gold jewellery, bangles and beaded necklaces. Behind them, ornate golden decorations and bright hanging ornaments fill the background.
