Outdoor ashram scene under large leafy trees with a bare sandy ground. In the foreground a man in a black shirt with his hair tied up digs or works the soil with a long wooden tool, and a woman with a ponytail is partly visible at left. In the centre a group of about ten to fifteen people stand watching, including a man in a red t-shirt, a woman in a white and gold sari, a woman in a blue patterned kurta with blue leggings, and a man in white. On the right, a bearded man with long dark hair wears an orange-red robe with a dark shawl draped over his shoulders and a rudraksha-style neck mala, holding a wooden staff, with a woman in a blue sari and orange bag beside him. A hanging rope and wooden structure are visible at right.
