A ceremonial photo at a Madurai Aadheenam coronation-style event. A seated man in orange and gold with a gold crown, long dark hair, rudraksha mala and a garland of white and red flowers smiles at a standing elder wearing a gold mitre-style crown, a red-and-gold shawl, gold necklace and garland, who appears to be placing a hand on him. A bald priest in orange with vertical tilak stands behind, and a man in a white dhoti with rudraksha mala stands at right. A gold lion figure and a gold throne backrest appear in the background, with a purple curtain. A man in orange at left holds a silver staff. Swamiji probable: the seated figure in the gold crown and orange robe with long hair and rudraksha mala.

A seated figure with long swept-back dark hair wears an orange-saffron cloth over the shoulders, a bare chest, many rudraksha malas, a heavy gold armlet and a gold-tone necklace, with a red-and-white flower garland. Beside him an elderly woman in a gold crown and gold-bordered sari with white vibhuti on her forehead and a red-and-white flower garland holds a brass plate, and an attendant in white dhoti stands behind. Gilded lion figures decorate the throne area. The seated figure matches appearance cues of a person, seated and receiving ceremonial honour.2012-04-27April 27 20122012-04-27April 27 20122012-04-27April 27 20122012-04-27April 27 20122012-04-27
