Night outdoor ritual scene. In the foreground, a shaved-headed priest in orange and saffron robes with a gold-striped border and gold bangle sits cross-legged, holding a flaming oil lamp (aarti) in one hand and a small bowl in the other, with smoke rising. Behind him, a second shaved-headed man in white with a garland sits with palms joined in prayer. Brass vessels, a brass bowl, a golden ornate stand and flower garlands lie on a low stone platform. Behind them, devotees in colourful saris and shirts stand along a white cloth barrier, and bokeh lights glow in the dark background. Appears to be an evening aarti or puja.
