A photograph of a Kannada class in a plain whitewashed hall with pale yellow partitions and a ceiling fan. A teacher in white clothes sits on a blue plastic chair at the front, facing a seated group of about twenty students on a striped rug. Most students wear white kurtas and orange shawls draped over their shoulders, and several have shaved heads. On a side table, a framed portrait garlanded with orange and white flowers shows a saffron-robed figure, next to a smaller framed picture of a white-clad woman. A potted palm stands beside the table, and a red and gold patterned cloth hangs on the wall.

A few people in the foreground hold pens and notebooks, and one woman near the right edge holds a phone to her ear. Some wear garlands or mala necklaces. At the upper right, a man in an orange robe sits apart from the crowd, near a tripod-mounted camera. Orange and pink cloths are draped over the floor and a red curtain hangs at the back wall.

A seated group gathering in a hall with a whitewashed wall and corrugated roof. In the centre, a figure in an orange robe sits on a raised mat before a microphone, with a golden lion sculpture behind. Around them, sannyasis in orange and white sit on mats, and in the foreground many young women in white with orange or yellow shawls sit on the floor with their hair in long braids, viewed from behind. Colourful ceremonial banners hang on the left and framed photographs with printed captions decorate the upper wall. The scene suggests a teaching or satsang session.
