A photograph outdoors beside thatched huts and a coconut palm. A long-haired figure in a sleeveless orange robe and orange shawl stands at left, both hands on a large wooden vehicle under construction: a carved wooden horse-headed prow with a curved neck, a wooden frame and a boxed wooden body with decorative edge scrollwork, supported on a trestle. Beside the figure, a man in white clothes stands next to the wooden structure, and a few other people are visible in the background. The ground is strewn with timber, sawdust and sacks. The figure's orange garment and long hair are the only cues in the frame; the identity is not established by face.

A carved wooden prow with a dragon-like head rises from a long hull on a trestle stand. A figure in a long-sleeved white robe with a yellow shawl and rudraksha mala stands at left with hands on hips. A person in saffron-orange robes with long dark hair, standing at centre, reaches toward the carved hull while holding a small book, with another person in white beside them. A person in a white kurta with an orange shawl stands with back to the camera, facing the carved wooden structure. To the right, a man with a short beard wears a light patterned shirt and a dhoti-style cloth, standing near the frame. Scattered planks and timber lie on the ground beside a stone-coloured workbench.2009-12-05December 05 20092009-12-05A photograph of a wooden ratha-style chariot or palanquin under construction in an open-air workshop beneath coconut palms, with a thatched shed behind it. The wooden frame has a curved arched canopy ending in a carved animal head, a central upright post, and a layered wooden base on trestle supports, with small gold-coloured fittings on the platform. Wood shavings and planks lie on the ground. A single person in a white garment with an orange cloth over the shoulder stands at the left edge, arms raised toward the frame, partly cut off by the frame.2009-12-05A photograph of a thatched outdoor work area with palm fronds overhead. In the foreground a man with long dark hair wears an orange robe draped over one shoulder and a bare-armed garment, and appears to be examining a large carved wooden structure with ornate scrollwork, possibly a ratha or palanquin under construction. Beside him a man in white clothes with a saffron-orange shawl and a rudraksha mala rests his hand on the wooden frame. Three other men in white shirts and dhotis stand to the left, one holding a small book. Unfinished timber and wooden poles are visible around the site. The man in orange shows distinctive long swept-back hair and saffron clothing, consistent with the Swamiji probable cues; the page indicates he is present.2009-12-05December 05 20092009-12-05A photograph of a carved wooden ceremonial vehicle, resembling a ratha or palanquin, with a sculpted animal head with curved horns at its front end, set on a pale wooden base. Several men stand around it, some touching and adjusting the wooden frame, one in a white shirt with an orange cloth draped over his shoulder. Behind them are palm fronds and thatched roof huts.
