A temple procession in a stone-pillared colonnade. At the centre, a deity murti is seated within a palanquin-style float densely decorated with red, yellow and orange flower garlands, with a striped red-and-black canopy above. Crowds of devotees and uniformed police officers in khaki surround the float, many holding up mobile phones. Palm-leaf fronds decorate the pillars, and a banner with a repeating pattern hangs along the far wall, with ornate temple gopuram carvings behind. Foreground figures include bald and grey-haired men and women in saris, some in yellow and green.
