A photograph of a blessing moment in an indoor hall. A bare-chested man with swept-back dark hair, wearing a yellow and orange marigold garland and a red-orange wrap, reaches over to place his right hand on the forehead of a short-haired man in a white shirt and red-orange shawl. The shawl-wearing man stands with palms pressed together in namaste. A golden lion-headed seat and a silver staff stand in the foreground, and another person in an orange shawl is visible at the upper right. The bare-chested figure shows a distinctive garland and wrap, but the appearance cues are not strong enough to confirm an identity, so the role is described as a blessing giver.

Gold ceremonial ornaments and a silver staff stand nearby, with a red and gold throne and a framed picture behind; a woman in white is visible at right. Three to five people are visible; the giver of blessing is shown with a white vibhuti line rather than the long swept-back hair or crown cues, so the identity cannot be confirmed from appearance.2014-05-13A photograph of a blessing ritual indoors.
