A close-up photograph of rows of polished stainless steel bowls set out on a dark table before a deep red curtain. The bowls hold food offerings: a yellow mound, cones of pale and brown sweet material, and orange and gold packaged sweets wrapped in cellophane. Small rounded sweets sit in the background, and a large wedge of bright orange-red sweet appears at the right edge. No people are visible, and the scene reads as prepared prasadam for a ritual or distribution.2011-01-01January 01 20112011-01-01January 01 20112011-01-01November 12 20102010-11-12A photograph of a food offering spread on a red cloth in a temple or ashram setting. Steel bowls hold white rice with vegetables, a yellow-orange tempered rice dish, a pale creamy porridge-like dish, and crisp fried snacks. Two red apples, a coconut and a plate of green betel or leaves sit at left. Behind the food are brass and silver vessels, a small ritual tray, a silver lamp, incense sticks in a cup, and a folded orange cloth. A person in white garments is partly visible at top left, so the scene is an offering arranged before a ritual.2010-11-12January 01 20112011-01-01A tiered display of festival offerings arranged on stepped purple and green draped platforms at a temple setting. Metal plates hold heaps of golden savoury snacks, sweet round laddus in rows, lentils and grains, red and yellow powders in small bowls on top, and a large basket of yellow flower garlands at lower right. A red-and-gold cloth hangs behind. No people are visible. Caption along the bottom reads Nithyanandeshwara Paramashiva Devalayam, Adi KAILASA. The offerings suggest a prasad or naivedyam display for a temple celebration.2021-10-09A photograph of many brass bowls densely arranged across a table, each covered with clear plastic wrap and filled with dry grains, lentils, nuts, puffed rice and other food items. Artificial flower arrangements in pink, orange and purple sit among the bowls, and a red-and-white checked tablecloth covers a table in the background. No people are visible; the scene appears to be ritual preparation of offerings.2016-03-07A photograph of a serving table set for a meal offering, covered with a red and gold brocade cloth at the front and a pale pink cloth behind. Rows of small stainless steel bowls hold sweets, lentils and other food, each with a spoon, and a larger steel tray holds more spoons. Two potted ferns and a brass oil lamp (kuthuvilakku) stand at the back beside marigold petals on the floor. No people are visible in the frame apart from a partial view of legs and clothing at the top edge.2011-12-11January 01 20092009-01-01January 01 20112011-01-01November 12 20102010-11-12
