A woman in a white blouse and white sari with a rudraksha-style bead necklace bends forward, holding a clear basket decorated with yellow marigold garland and green leaves, offering it to a figure at right. That figure wears a saffron-orange robe, a long rudraksha mala, and multiple beaded bracelets, with long dark hair swept back, and extends one hand toward the offering. At left, an older man in white clothes holds a white and red-green flower garland. Several people in white stand in the background near a doorway. Appearance suggests a person receiving a welcome offering, with orange robe, rudraksha mala and swept-back hair as cues, though the face is not visible.2006-12-30Three people stand outside a green iron gate on a dirt path. A woman on the left wears a cream sari with a yellow shawl and holds her hands together. A man in the centre wears white dhoti and shirt with an orange scarf and holds a brass kalasha-style pot decorated with flowers and leaves. On the right, a bearded man in orange robes and an orange dhoti with a red border, wearing a rudraksha-style mala, holds a wooden tray of bananas and white flower garlands. A printed banner on the gate post shows portrait photographs. A yellow auto-rickshaw and a black SUV are in the background.2009-12-23A photograph of people walking along a narrow dirt lane between pale blue walls beside a red-and-white sign board on a gate. In the foreground a man in white shirt and white dhoti walks with his hands at his sides. Behind him a figure in an orange saffron garment wears a white flower garland and walks beside a woman in a cream-and-gold bordered sari carrying a brass plate of flowers and offerings. Another man in white clothes walks further back. Behind them are tiled roofs, a pink building, palm trees and a utility pole against a pale sky.2010-02-18December 30 20062006-12-30September 14 20092009-09-14 +1 copiesDecember 28 20062006-12-28September 14 20092009-09-14January 21 20102010-01-21
