Centre, a deity murti is dressed in red garlands and white flower strands, set on a pink-and-white cloth over a wooden platform. Silver oil lamps flank the shrine, and fruit and flower offerings sit on trays in the foreground. Behind, large floral-garlanded deity figures and a gold curtain frame the sanctum. Two seated devotees appear at the bottom edge.2016-12-07Night temple scene before a gold-and-silver shrine decorated with garlands of yellow, orange and red flowers. Two bare-backed men with shaved-looking heads and white body markings stand in the foreground; the man on the right raises his arm to pour or offer something over a blue-clad deity murti, while the man on the left wears a green embroidered headwrap and a rudraksha-style beaded necklace. Behind them stand a golden bull, a golden Ganesha figure with a blue and gold cloth, and a golden kalasha-topped vessel on the altar. The setting suggests an abhishekam or puja. Photographed from behind, so no faces are visible.2016-12-19A photograph of a priest performing an aarti before a deity murti decorated with dense garlands of marigolds, jasmine and red roses in a rounded arch frame. The priest, shown bare-chested with a purple cloth wrapped on his head and a rudraksha-style bead bracelet, holds a multi-wick oil lamp with flames rising toward the decorated murti. A second man in a maroon-and-gold shawl stands at the right edge, partly visible. Yellow sunflower-style floral decorations hang above. The murti's face and adornments are partly obscured by the flames and garlands.2018-04-14February 02 20162016-02-02October 18 20152015-10-18April 14 20182018-04-14December 07 20162016-12-07April 14 20182018-04-14
