Night outdoor scene at a large paved ground filled with thick smoke and rising sparks from fireworks or firecrackers. Two gold-coloured domed metal frames stand in the haze, with a tall fountain of fire on the left and lamps glowing along the ground. Several figures stand in the smoke, and in the lower right a person in an orange-red robe raises both arms behind the head beside another dark-clothed attendant. The scene reads as a night festival celebration with pyrotechnics.
