Outdoor crowd scene during a street procession. At the centre a figure with long dark hair, a red-orange shawl and a large garland of yellow and red flowers smiles and raises a hand, with a bald man in white shirt beside them. Around them, women wear white and yellow saris with rudraksha malas, a man in white holds a wooden pole, and a man in a yellow-brown uniform and cap stands at the lower right. Several people carry wooden poles bearing banners behind them. Strictly by appearance, the central figure has long swept-back hair, an orange shawl and a flower garland, so a candidate is present but the appearance is uncertain, and no name is printed on the image itself apart from the archive caption.
