Night photograph of an open ground at a Deepavali celebration, littered with spent firecracker boxes and debris. A bright burst of fireworks or sparkler light glows at left-centre. A man in a white dhoti with a gold-coloured border stands at right, facing the light. Several people in orange and red garments stand in a loose group near the left and middle distance. Strings of multicoloured fairy lights stretch across the background, with a distant bright lamp at the top left.
