A photograph of a seated man in a red saffron-toned wrap with a dark rudraksha mala draped across his chest and a red bindi on his forehead, his bare right arm extended as he places his hand on the crown of the head of a second man. The second man, seen from behind, wears a white collared shirt and a gold bracelet, with his arms spread open in a gesture of appeal. Behind them are a red cushioned seat, a garland of flowers, a golden deity murti at the left edge, dark blue drapes, a potted plant and a green backdrop. The scene resembles a blessing or personal guidance moment.2011-09-04February 21 20152015-02-21May 09 20142014-05-09February 19 20152015-02-19 +1 copiesNovember 21 20112011-11-21March 03 20152015-03-03A photograph of a ritual blessing. A bare-chested man in an orange-and-gold shawl, with a red tilak on his forehead, a short topknot, gold beaded necklaces and a gold bangle, stands at right placing his right hand on the head of a shaven-headed man in a white shirt at left, whose hands are pressed together in a gesture of receiving. A deep maroon curtain hangs behind them and a gold-coloured vessel is visible at lower centre. Their faces suggest a devotee receiving blessing from a priest.2012-02-09A seated figure in a rust-red saffron-toned garment with gold trim places one hand on the forehead of a young man in a white kurta with a rudraksha mala at his neck. The young man stands with eyes closed and palms pressed together in namaste, receiving a blessing. The seated figure has long dark hair pulled back and a gold-embroidered garment, and a gold throne-like seat is visible at lower left. The setting is a plain beige-panelled hall with a wooden pillar and white curtain at right. A partial figure in white sits in the background at right.2013-12-03February 09 20122012-02-09February 09 20122012-02-09February 19 20152015-02-19February 09 20122012-02-09
