A photograph inside a pavilion with a bamboo ceiling and a white pedestal fan. A man in white kurta and dhoti stands at left with palms pressed together in namaste, smiling toward a seated figure. The seated figure wears an orange saffron robe and a heavy garland of red and white flowers, and sits on an ornate gold throne with carved backrest and golden lion-form armrests. He raises one hand in blessing. Behind the throne hang red and gold drapery and a red-and-gold pillar. Offerings of fruit and flowers sit on a tray at the side. Two people are visible.2010-01-02August 16 20092009-08-16December 24 20092009-12-24A seated man in orange robes and a white and red flower garland sits with palms pressed together in namaste on an ornate gold throne with a red velvet back and gold lion-form armrest. Around him, devotees sit on a colourful striped mat in a simple room with a window, a standing fan and a small offering tray. A woman in white with her hands folded, a man in white kurta with a lanyard and folded hands, and a woman in a blue shawl sit nearby, with a partial figure at the lower edge. The white-haired woman at lower left also has hands pressed together. The scene suggests satsang or darshan. Visible people: five to six.2009-12-08A photo from a stage event with a dark blue draped curtain behind. A seated figure in an orange saffron robe, with long swept-back dark hair and bare feet on a red cushioned footstool, sits smiling broadly on an ornate gold throne with red velvet cushions. A man in a white kurta and dhoti stands at left with his hands pressed together in a respectful namaste gesture, head bowed. A vase of orange and pink flowers and a water bottle sit on a small table beside the throne, and a microphone on a stand is at right. The seated figure has distinctive long hair and saffron robes consistent with the page's reference to Swamiji, so this is a probable identification from appearance cues.2010-09-13A photograph of a seated man in an orange shawl over a red top, with a red vertical tilak on his forehead, smiling broadly. He sits on an ornate gilded throne with floral carvings, backed by red and yellow garlands and a red draped backdrop. A younger man in a white kurta leans in from the left, hands clasped near the seated man's hands. The seated man wears saffron and red clothing and a shawl; the appearance cues are consistent with a person on a throne being greeted. Setting appears to be a stage or ceremonial hall.2009-08-30November 19 20092009-11-19August 13 20092009-08-13A photograph in an open-sided pavilion with yellow curtains and palm fronds visible outside. A seated man in an orange saffron robe wears a white and pink flower garland and a gold necklace, and sits on an ornate gold-and-red throne with carved lion-like arms and a gold lion-shaped footrest. He clasps hands with a standing man in a white kurta with a rudraksha mala, who wears glasses. On the right a side table holds stacked books. At left a third person in orange robes stands barefoot, gesturing with his hands.2009-08-26A seated figure in saffron-orange robes sits on an ornate gold throne with a red upholstered back, wearing long swept-back dark hair, a large white and multicolour flower garland and a green-and-white-beaded garland. He is bare-chested beneath the orange cloth, gesturing with a raised palm while smiling. Before him, a man in white kurta and dhoti kneels with palms pressed together in namaste. Behind them, several men in white with orange shawls stand near a draped red and gold backdrop, and scattered flower petals cover the floor. The distinctive saffron robe, long hair and adornments match the Swamiji (probable) appearance cues, and the throne and kneeling devotee suggest a darshan setting.2007-02-24August 13 20092009-08-13December 24 20092009-12-24
