A tall banner reads NITHYANANDA DHYANAPEETAM, INTERNATIONAL VEDIC HINDU UNIVERSITY PROJECT, NITHYANANDA SPURANA ASHRAM, and shows a portrait of a smiling man in an orange turban labelled Paramahamsa Nithyananda. Below it stands a white ceremonial seat with a microphone, and a camera on a tripod is set up at the front.
