Outdoor photo on a sandy riverbank at dusk, with a hazy pale sky and boats moored along the water. Several monastic figures in saffron-orange robes with gold-striped sashes stand in a loose group facing the river; one wears a red turban and another wears a long orange garment. A man in a white shirt and dark trousers walks nearby, and a person holds a white cloth. Smoke rises from a fire on the left, and a few more people in white stand near the boats.

October 27 20152015-10-27Photograph of a group walking across a sandy riverbank at dawn, with a hazy pale sky and a wide river behind them dotted with moored boats and wooden poles. In the centre, a man in a deep red-orange dhoti and shawl with a red-orange turban and a heavy gold-coloured necklace walks beside a man in a bright saffron-orange kurta and dhoti with long dark hair. To their left, a shaved-headed man in rust-coloured robes and a beaded mala carries a white flag with orange trim. To the right, a shaved-headed man in rust robes stands with folded arms. Behind them, women in white saris walk, and on the far right women in pink saris move along the bank.2015-10-27October 27 20152015-10-27A photograph of a group of sannyasis walking barefoot across a sandy riverbank at dusk, with a wide, hazy river and moored boats behind them. In the centre, a man in a dark red turban and a long gold necklace wears a dark red and gold-bordered robe and carries a white plastic bag. Beside him, a man in a flowing saffron-orange robe and sandals walks with hands clasped, apparently a candidate for a person by appearance, though the cues are limited. Other sannyasis in rust-red robes with gold borders and rudraksha malas walk alongside, and a bald man in a red robe folds his arms at right. Behind them, women in pink saris and onlookers stand near the water, and a photographer crouches at the left edge.2015-10-27A dusk photograph on a sandy riverbank with moored wooden boats and long bamboo poles, a hazy river behind them and a stone building at right. Three saffron-clad men walk together in the foreground: the man at right wears a bright orange kurta and has long swept-back dark hair, with hands pressed together, while two shaved-headed men in dark maroon-brown robes with gold borders wear layered gold necklaces and beaded garlands. A group of onlookers in white shirts, a dhoti and saris stands to the left. One candidate matches cues of long swept-back hair and saffron clothing, so this is Swamiji (probable) walking along the ghat with his companions.2015-10-27Photograph of a group of saffron-robed sadhus walking along a sandy riverbank at dusk, with boats moored on calm water and hazy sky behind them. In the centre, a man in a red-maroon turban and gold beaded necklace holds his hands together, while a man in bright orange robes with a shawl walks to the right, hands clasped in front. Several other ascetics in maroon and mustard dhotis, some with rudraksha malas, follow, and a white-clad woman and other people stand in the background. The scene suggests a Ganga ghat visit with devotees.2015-10-27October 27 20152015-10-27A riverside ghat in Varanasi with a broad grey river on the left, moored wooden boats and a stone-paved embankment. Several men in saffron-orange robes and rudraksha malas walk along the steps, one carrying a shoulder bag. A man in white kurta pauses near a wooden bench, and women in red and blue saris walk among the group. Pedestrians and a bicycle line the right-hand promenade under a hazy sky.2014-05-21Photograph of a group walking down a stone ghat steps beside a wide, pale river in Varanasi, with a small boat carrying passengers on the water and a red and white cloth canopy at left. A man in white kurta and trousers walks at front, followed by several people in rust-orange and maroon robes with rudraksha malas and garlands, and women in white and cream saris. A bald-headed man in orange-maroon robes is prominent in the foreground. A few children and onlookers stand on the steps, and a concrete pillar with a yellow sticker is at right.2014-05-21Photograph of four people in saffron-orange robes with gold borders, standing on a sandy riverbank at sunrise or sunset over a hazy river. Several people wear rudraksha-style beaded necklaces. A bald man on the left raises his right arm and points toward the sun, while the others look on. A bald man on the right has yellow-painted markings on his arms and chest. Boats with poles line the shore, and a small crowd in white clothing is visible in the distance. Faint orange light streaks across the sky above the water.2015-10-27May 13 20142014-05-13A photograph of a group of devotees on a sandy riverbank at dawn, with a hazy sky and moored wooden boats with bamboo poles along the water. Many people wear white kurtas and saris with orange shawls or orange cloth bags slung over their shoulders; one older woman with white hair wears white with an orange shawl, and a man in an orange-trimmed white outfit stands nearby. Some carry black backpacks and white plastic bags, and a young child in white stands near the water's edge. Several people look toward the river as they gather to board boats, and a small group in the foreground wears white with orange stoles. Faint copyright and source text is visible on the right side.2015-10-27
