A photograph of a temple ritual seen from behind a crowd of devotees. In the foreground, a bald man in white and a man with dark hair press their palms together in prayer. Beyond them, several priests in maroon and red dhoti-style cloth with gold borders stand at a raised shrine area, one holding a flame and lamp near an ornate red-curtained stone doorway. A small deity murti sits in a stone niche decorated with yellow and orange flowers. Smoke rises beside the priests, and a kalasha and brass lamp stand on the altar. The scene suggests aarti or puja at a temple.

They hold small striped red-and-white cloth bundles or trays and appear to be presenting offerings near a carved granite deity murti decorated with yellow and orange flowers. Red velvet drapery hangs at right. In the foreground, the shaved heads and shoulders of several seated devotees are visible, and a lit oil lamp stands on a brass stand at left beside a canopy of coloured cloth.2015-01-13January 13 20152015-01-13January 13 20152015-01-13January 13 20152015-01-13January 13 20152015-01-13January 13 20152015-01-13January 13 20152015-01-13
