A seated figure on a gold-and-brown throne receives devotees on Guru Purnima at a temple-like hall. The figure wears a rust-brown turban, layered gold necklaces, bangles and a red and yellow garland, with a cloth-draped throne behind. Around the seat, devotees in white and red clothing, some wearing red shawls, hold brass and silver trays of offerings, flowers and oil lamps. A woman in red with hands joined prays, a bald man in white and a man with a rudraksha mala kneel at the front, and a bell and a ceremonial staff stand nearby. Garlands of marigolds hang from the ceiling.
