A seated man in an ornate golden throne with a red velvet back and gilded lion-head armrests, dressed in a red silk kurta and matching red trousers with gold embroidery and a gold-brown shawl draped over one shoulder. He wears a red bindi and has long dark hair, smiling broadly, with red and yellow flower garlands and scattered red petals around the base of the throne against a deep blue backdrop. Appearance-based cues (long swept hair, ornate clothing, ceremonial throne) suggest a person seated in state, though identity is uncertain from the image alone.2007-02-02A smiling man with long dark swept-back hair and a red bindi sits in a red zebra-striped throne decorated with yellow, red and purple flower garlands and white jasmine. He wears a peach-coloured embroidered kurta with gold detailing, an orange dhoti-style lower garment with a gold border, a gold chain and a red beaded collar, and holds his hands together in namaste. Ornate gilded carving surrounds the seat.2008-12-28February 14 20072007-02-14 +1 copiesA smiling man with long dark hair and a short beard sits cross-legged on an ornate gilded throne. He wears a rust-orange saffron wrap draped over his bare shoulder and a gold necklace, with a red tilak mark on his forehead and a red thread on his wrist. His hands rest folded in his lap. Behind him, a huge gold carved backrest with flaming, winged motifs and two golden lion-faced armrests flank the seat, which is covered in leopard-print cushions. The image shows a single seated figure in a formal throne setting with a dark red curtain behind. The figure matches appearance cues for a person, seated on the throne.2017-09-19 +1 copiesA seated man on an ornate gilded throne sits barefoot, smiling, in a crimson and gold brocade sherwani over cream dhoti-style trousers. He wears an elaborate gold crown set with red and green stones, a red bindi, layered gold necklaces, a large gold pendant, and a cream shawl with beaded tassels draped across his body. A silver staff topped with a bird figure rests in his left hand, and rings adorn his fingers. Behind him is a dense arrangement of marigolds, red roses, purple and white flowers in rainbow-banded garlands. Swamiji (probable): the seated figure has long swept-back hair, a crown, ornate gold jewellery and a sceptre, matching distinctive ceremonial cues of the page subject.2011-12-15 +1 copiesJune 21 20092009-06-21A seated man in a rust-orange sannyasi cloth wrap sits cross-legged on an ornate gold throne with winged lion-like carvings and leopard-print cushions.
